Divergent Resource Logic — DRL
Revision history

Every version, on the record.

This page is the authoritative log of every document and page published on this site: the version in force, the date it was published, and a short note on what changed at each release. It exists so that any reader, regulator, journalist, or attorney can establish exactly what was published, when, and in what form. The log is durable. Entries are added, not removed.

Why this page exists

The record is part of the method

Audit work depends on a clean record of what was asserted and when. This site treats its own publication history the same way it treats the public record it documents: as a dated, sourced, durable log. When a document is revised, the prior version's existence is recorded here rather than erased. When a number, a citation, or a framing changes, the change is noted. The purpose is twofold — to give readers a transparent account of how the work has developed, and to maintain the chain-of-notice record that the feedback channel feeds into.

Current document versions are linked from their own pages. This page is the consolidated index. Where a document carries its own internal version history, that history is reproduced in summary here; the document itself remains the primary record.

Changelog

What changed, by release

DRL Thesis Codex

v4.3.3 — 27 May 2026. Corpus framing-lock realignment pass (fifteen in-text edits). References to the author's own modular construction system were reviewed against the framework's standing posture that worked examples are illustrative, not promotional. Promotional and supply-chain-specific passages were removed or rewritten to evidentiary register; the system is retained only where it is the disclosed source of pilot data, with its limitations acknowledged. No change to any emission factor, calculation, or finding.

v4.3.0 — 1 May 2026 (IRONCLAD). Section 7.4 NECO₂ worked example added; Section 7.2 aluminium entry; Section 6.4A terminology and federal-funding architecture; Section 14 third-review addendum; Searchinger/Peng Nature 2023 integration; Reagan Legacy companion reference; pilot-count correction; Sections 15/16/16A renumbered to Appendices S/T/U; LCA-layer cross-references threaded.

v4.2.0 — 20 April 2026. Section 14 rewrite; business-as-usual visualisation; Appendix R (AI test responses).

v4.1.x — April 2026. Author sections integrated; peer-review response; citation hardening and evidentiary audit.

v4.1 — 9 April 2026. First v4 release. Original draft dated 23 November 2025.

The Curtain — modern chronology

v1.1 — May 2026. Added the "Note on prior knowledge" framing section establishing that the relationship between forest cover and climatic function has been on the written record for approximately four millennia, with the modern chronology (1969 forward) documenting the assembly of the formal measurement apparatus rather than the discovery of the underlying relationship. Codex cross-references updated to v4.3.3. Companion cross-reference to Appendix Z added.

v1.0 — May 2026. First release. Ten-part chronology 1969–May 2026 across three strands (science; disclosure standards; money and treaty instruments). Twelve-institution acknowledgements table.

Appendix Z — The Deep Chronology of Forestry Knowledge

v1.0 — May 2026. First release. Four-millennium chronology from the Standard Babylonian recension of the Gilgamesh epic (c. 2100 BCE) through 2026, including the pre-colonial Indigenous land-management layer and the institutional lineage from Carlowitz (1713) through Brandis to Pinchot. Companion to The Curtain.

The Tree of Many Sales

v0.3 — May 2026 (working draft). Published as a working draft. Documents the over-counting half of the configuration: the same physical tonne of sequestered carbon counted as a benefit three to six times across the offset registry, national inventory, biogenic-neutral EPD, building certification, corporate Scope 3, and procurement systems, against an end-of-life methane debit allocated to none of them. Part I follows the carbon; Part II follows the asset (sixteen monetisation events in the US, twelve in NZ); Part III synthesises. Structural mechanisms anchored to statutory, regulatory, and program-record sources; typical-magnitude figures are working estimates pending a primary-source verification pass. Offered openly for review and disputation.

The ESG Carbon-Cost Gap — media release

v1.0 — May 2026. First release. Long-form audit of the gap between the carbon-accounting standards used to classify sustainable investment and the science those same governments report to the UNFCCC. Covers both the excluded liabilities and the over-counting of the same physical carbon, the latter cross-referenced to The Tree of Many Sales. Published to the site as a public document.

The Reagan Forestry Legacy and the American Housing Crisis

v3.2 — April 2026. Legal-redline pass applied at the source-document level: configuration-descriptive register throughout, intent not characterised, public-record sources only. Tracked changes accepted; legacy language in headings and body corrected to the same posture.

Configuration as Authority

v1.1 — May 2026. Legal-review pass applied. The organising rhetorical frame was recast into the academic vocabulary the brief itself names — "epistemic community" and "private regulatory regime." Every fact, table, source, and section preserved; only the frame changed.

v1.0 — earlier 2026. First release.

Section 7.4 — NECO₂ Worked Example

May 2026. Published as a standalone extract from Codex Section 7.4.

What is held back, deliberately

Two documents and one page are complete or near-complete but are held back pending counsel review. They are listed here for transparency; their absence from the site is a deliberate editorial decision, not an omission.
